This site is a diary of the build of a very special bodied Caterham 7, panelled completely in "Carbon-bits.com" carbon by Richard (RiF) for his wife Henrietta.

Please note: I have gone to extreme lengths to seal all the seams, finish off every edge, comply with SVA regs, etc. If you are thinking of paneling in carbon you don't have to do all the work photographed here!!!!!!

Tape cleaned off with alcohol, switches added

Fuel tank floor, taken with chassis upside down. Placed to stop all the dirt entering the underside of the car

That's it.

Well that is really the scuttle horizontal but the footwells got in the way!

The chassis complete so far, the right way up this time
