This site is a diary of the build of a very special bodied Caterham 7, panelled completely in "Carbon-bits.com" carbon by Richard (RiF) for his wife Henrietta.

January 08: Main body is now finished and built up as a rolling chassis, engine was lifted in end of December. Now we need to sort out the electrics, make and fit wings / nose cone, fit radiator and water pipes plus the seats.

Oh plus a little more pink paintwork!!!!

The following pages are all the pictures of our build. From bare chassis, carbon panels added and hopefully to a fully built Caterham 7 one day soon!

There are many pictures of different angles to give anyone thinking of installing the same panels, all the information needed to be used as a reference library. We are sorry for those that are bored by too many shots of the same part. 

Please note: I have gone to extreme lengths to seal all the seams, finish off every edge, comply with SVA regs, etc. If you are thinking of panelling in carbon you don't have to do all the work photographed here!!!!!!
